Requis, a B2B supply chain platform that helps users both buy and sell inventory ranging from office equipment to multi-million-dollar machinery. As the UI/UX Designer, I was responsible for designing various features that met the business requirements, ensured seamless integration, and aligned with Requis’ existing design system.
As a UX Designer, I led the transformation of their complex platform features into intuitive platform integrations.
I collaborated closely with the Engineering Director and Lead Developer to identify and shape essential features for the platform. My role began with attending product planning meetings where the Engineering Manager outlined feature requests originating from the Product Manager and Marketing Team. After initial discussions, I reviewed early functional models created by the development team, then conducted targeted market and user research to validate needs and expectations. Using these insights, I translated feature concepts into low-fidelity wireframes and interactive flows. These wireframes were reviewed with the engineering team to ensure technical feasibility and alignment. Once the features were built, they were deployed using feature flags, allowing for controlled rollouts. I participated in post-launch feedback loops, analyzing user responses and iterating on designs to enhance usability and overall user satisfaction.
The result was a CRM system that not only met technical requirements, like importing Salesforce data, but also delivered a user experience that felt familiar, intuitive, and efficient. **
This feature was designed to help users who have placed bids on assets in the marketplace to set a reminder for the cutoff date for placing offers.
This feature will provide the user with reminders for different events happening in the platform.
In order to determine the appropriate solutions to implement, it had to establish the objectives I aimed to achieve. These objectives served as a guide for my decision-making process and ensured that I was progressing in the correct direction.
